SSL 228 ~ Sailing for the Volcano ~ Mt Pelee, St Pierre, Martinique, CARIBBEAN

In this episode we take you for an aerial tour around one of the biggest marine ports in the Caribbean, Le Marin in the South coast of Martinique. It is a vast area, and a bustling little metropolis on a small Caribbean Island... but one you can find anything you need, from the finest wines and cheeses, to the most difficult to find boat parts! After that we pull anchor and hoist the sails, and set course for the North end of the island to a town called St Pierre, which happens to be home of one of the most famous volcanoes in the Caribbean.. Mt Pelee which is the volcano that killed over 30,000 instantly in one blast in the early 1900s.. and even though the volcano is still technically active, they rebuilt the entire town in its exact position as before!
