Solo Cruise to Avalon, Catalina Island (January 2021)
In this episode, we take a short solo trip to Avalon, Catalina Island. Although there were small craft advisories, there was little wind and we wound up motoring to the island and back. Along the way, we spot a disabled cruise ship in the distance. Fortunately, the GoPro batteries died just before mooring pickup. It wasn't pretty. After a pleasant evening aboard, we depart the next morning. We have a nice dolphin viewing and an uneventful passage back to San Pedro.
