Solar Panels: The Hunt for a Bargain [EP 35] | Sailing Millennial Falcon

After a cruisy sail from Carriacou we arrived in St Georges bay in Grenada and set about exploring the town. The next day we got down to work, walking for miles around the town in search of an electric motor that may be able to serve as a replacement in our engine driven water maker and refrigeration system, and some solar panels to power it. After a serendipitous lunch meeting during which we tried the Grenadan national dish 'Oildown' we found an interesting way to source some solar panels that were cheaper than all the marine stores we'd found! So the next day we did some wheeling and dealing to get a bargain! The next challenge was getting them back to the boat and installed.
