Shallow entry into the Hinchinbrook Channel 🎣 Barramundi catch & cook | S1 E14 | Pacific Star

This episode, we negotiate a low tide entry into the Hinchinbrook channel. We manage to catch a nice size barramundi and cook it to perfection. Then make it to Cairns, where we find some cheap pile moorings. Where we can leave our boat for a few weeks, while we head home for a break from the boat to Perth. We spent 1 night at Lucinda, near where the barges stay on the mooring, north of the fishing jetty. It was a little tidal here, but nice and close to get to shore. It’s only a 10 minutes walk into town, where you can enjoy a nice pub feed and the patrons are welcome to use the pool. The follow day, we motored to Haycock Island. Where we dropped anchor for a few days. Josh enjoyed some fishing and caught a mud crab as well. Which we cooked up and made a yummy Barramundi fish parcel.  After that we headed up to the coast and finally arrived in Cairns, for us to tie up Pacific Star to the pile mooring and return back to Perth for a break. ✨WANT TO SEE MORE OF OUR ADVENTURES?
