Sailing to St Lucia battling currents and strong rum EP17

On our sail to St Lucia a sudden strong current caused us to make almost no headway. Motor sailing had us at least moving in the right direction but is was a slow effort. Once we made it, we met a South-African couple living on the island and they invite us on a hike with a local expat hiking group.
