Sailing the east coast of Sardinia
We wait out a thunderstorm in Sicily, then set sail for Sardinia. And soon we have to start the engine. Absolute calm. And 160 nautical miles lie ahead of us. The night is deep black, a fabulous starry sky shines above us. New moon. The mirror-smooth sea is almost ghostly. In Sardinia, wonderful bays await us, white sand, turquoise water, cliffs and an enormous swell in the bays. The Dilly-Dally at anchor is reminiscent of a ship's swing on Hamburg's Dom. But that's complaining at a high level. Sardinia is wonderful!
