Sailing past Cape Brett to Whangamumu & Exploring an Old Whaling Station with Zhané in New Zealand

Episode 319 : Season 10 : New Zealand - Aotearoa Hello Friends, On this episode I round Cape Brett and sail for the amazingly protected harbor of Whangamumu. Once the hook was set and secure I head ashore to meet up with my friend Zhané, a professional sailor from the R. Tucker Thompson tall ship and and a solo sailor with her own boat. Zhané showed me around the abandoned whaling station and then we hiked up to check out the waterfalls above the ruins. We then hopped in the dinghy and headed off to check out the sea caves that populate the cliffsides of the harbor.
