Are modern yachts to high tech and why is everything made so unnecessary complicated. Im showing you my work around solution building a very simple analoge system replacing computer that failed. Old school thinking and make things stupid simple, yet working just as good for 1/8 off the price. Yachts today are full of motherboards bluetooth wifi computers and controllers. Micro switches and sensors, all the things that you really don't want onboard. Its fancy and super cool when it works, but countless hours of work to troubleshoot when it fails. And it do fail on a boat, this is the only guarantee a sailor have. This is my final video from Martinique as Im setting sail west starting on my long sail (1300 nautical miles) SOLO.
