Sailing Kemah to New Orleans - Part 3

Part 3 of our trip sailing trip from Kemah (Near Houston, TX) to New Orleans. We did this trip with the 2 and 9 year old and it worked our pretty well. See where we anchored in the Mermantau River, checking the anchor set from the dinghy, traveling to Morgan City and where we stayed there in the Berwick traffic district and then headed to Houma LA where we stayed at a great little municipal marina that is a great respite for this part of the trip. Join us on our journey as we continue to rebuild, refit and prepare our Formosa 51 Sailboat for our continued cruising journey. We have always loved the Formosa, bought one (on a bit of a whim) late in 2014, moved aboard this one right away and started to do our refit while living board.
