SAILING INTO COVER FROM HURRICANE ELSA - SwT 58 - staring into the eye of hurricane ELSA

In this episode I'm running from Hurricane ELSA sailing solo from Martinique. Planning for Bonaire but sailing south first to see how weather develops. Facing some minor challenges on my way south and decide to ride out ELSA in Bequia. Pretty close call with the center of Hurricane ELSA passing just a few mile north of me. Before full-time sailing, I have sailed several seasons in the Med prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and also been an active regatta sailor.
