We sailed from Puerto Rico to the Dominican Republic — it wasn’t an easy passage, but we were lucky to arrive at the beautiful Marina Puerto Bahía in Samaná. What a treat! Zivile needed some dental surgery, but with a week to spare, we decided to explore the country — from the historic capital, Santo Domingo (the first capital city in the Americas), to the famous resort town of Punta Cana.
