Sailboat Buying NIGHTMARE! How Not to Buy A Sailboat ⛵️- Part 2 of 4 In this part, we discuss much of what the past 5 years has entailed for us, and get into the guts of the NIGHTMARE that our boat purchase turned out to be. There were some key critical errors that we made in the purchase of our sailboat, and we've paid dearly for them! In another episode, we'll unpack specific mistakes we made, and what can be learned from that experience. For this video, we continue narrating the story of what happened, as we gradually get caught up to present day, while delving into our experience during the covid lockdowns and the decisions we had to make to adjust to our new reality with a stack of challenges on our plate. But what can be said with certainty is how these experiences have prepared us to provide incredible value to our clients from first-hand experience, from research, to surveys, to the purchasing process, refitting, living aboard for several years, refitting the boat again, and adjusting to the unanticipated and unknown! And despite the challenges and setbacks, we did put 1000's of miles under her keel and sharpened our skills in the process.
