Sailboat BOARDED at night by ARMED men! | Between The Rock & a hard place pt2 #24

Crossing the Schengen zone by sailboat! Continuing to sail across the Mediterranean Sea in winter from Gibraltar to Montenegro we are suddenly blinded by an unidentified boat with flashing lights and boarded by men carrying guns! These men turn out to be Spanish customs checking that we aren’t smuggling people or drugs into the country. Despite our initial shock we find them professional and, after a quick search of the boat, they disappear again into the night. As we have no wind to continue on and strong winds against us are forecast we take shelter in an inland lagoon called the Mar Menor. Whilst there Iain takes an unexpected swim off of the boat and we continue with boat jobs.
