Our sail camping trip to Lake Granby, Colorado in July 2022. We launched from the Sunset Point boat ramp and camped in a small, shallow cove about 1.9 miles up the Colorado River. Lake Granby sits 22 miles downstream from the headwaters of the Colorado River and is Colorado's 3rd largest body of water. The "lake" is technically a reservoir, since it is formed by Granby Dam completed in 1950.
