Sea Trial Day 1 for the all-new Sabre 38 with Volvo Penta DPI propulsion begins in Raymond, Maine. Before we can gather real-world performance data, the boat first needs to be transported from the factory to the marina and put through a full systems check on the water. This stage is all about validation. Testing the new Volvo Penta DPI system, confirming prop selection, checking engine data, and making sure every system onboard is operating exactly as intended. These first runs give the team a chance to make adjustments before official performance testing begins. Once everything is confirmed and running properly, we can move into Day 2 and begin collecting the true performance numbers for the new Sabre 38.
