Now, back to the open water *SCREECHING HALT* to fix our seacock that is seized and leaking water. A consistent dripping of water into the boat. Tucked into a little corner off of Sarasota Bay is the boatyard that comes recommended from our boating friends. Add a barge entering right behind us, and you get a very intense arrival. While the boat is out of the water to replace the seacock we decide to get a new bottom paint job, replace the zinc on our shaft, and repaint the propeller. The boatyard, NE Taylor Boatworks, was awesome and they had the work completed and Dodi back in the water in less than a week. The boat is finally in tip top shape, however our wallets have taken a hit. We feel optimistic about our future adventures but will need to get creative to continue our journey. That's The Boat Life!
