Relying solely on engine "run-time" without a proper inspection will get you into trouble!

Run time (also known as engine hours or mileage) can give you some insight into the health of an engine, but it can also tell you very little about what's inside. Stop relying on that number as the only thing that matters when purchasing a vessel or engine and you will avoid alot of hassle!
