Panama Canal Countdown: Diving, Lightning & Last-Minute Prep

After completing the passage from Trinidad to Panama, we spent a little time anchored along the Caribbean coast while waiting to make our long-awaited transit through the Panama Canal! While the anchorage itself was muddy, around the corner was one of the healthiest, most vibrant reefs any of us had seen in years! Our days were spent alternating between exploring the stunning underwater world, and sheltering from heavy rainstorms in SV Liger, hoping that the lightning would stay away. After all the boat work we've done to our catamaran, being stuck lightning is our worst nightmare!
