And rightly so, because as we came to moor the boat alongside the concrete pontoon, you guessed it… we crashed the boat!! Our tiny home got her first bump and we were devastated at our first boat fail! However, on our journey to a liveaboard off grid life, we will surely encounter a few more sailing fails like this... In this episode we will show you how to unstep a sailboat mast with a crane and some elbow grease, in preparation for boat transportation, as we move our sailboat cross country (a few hundred miles) to her new home in Brighton. You will also see us move the boat from Brundall Bay Marina to Bell Boats Marina (both Norfolk broads) to get her hauled out the water ready to be transported by road.
