Old San Juan to Glowing Seas - Sailing Puerto Rico This week, we leave the USVI behind and set our sails for Culebrita — a stunning, isolated tropical paradise where we slow down and spend a few unforgettable days surrounded by nothing but turquoise water, beaches, and the feeling of being completely off the grid. But the adventure is only getting started. ⛵ From Culebrita, we sail to Culebra, where we experience one of the most incredible natural spectacles of the entire journey — bioluminescent waters so bright they seem to glow beneath our boat. After a few peaceful days exploring the tiny island of Palermo, we point the bow toward San Juan. Sailing past the massive historic fort and into the harbor feels like entering another world. And then comes the unexpected part… After months of traveling through remote islands and foreign countries, we suddenly start seeing places that feel strangely familiar — Home Depot, Olive Garden, Chick-fil-A… reminders of home just when crew morale needed it the most. We explore the historic fortifications, wander the colorful streets of Old San Juan, and soak up the last moments of Puerto Rico before pulling up the anchor once again. Our next passage will take us to the final country of our world tour. The journey is getting closer to the finish line… but there's still plenty of ocean — and adventure — ahead.
