Making a test cable harness for a new 48V battery for the outboard
I have a 2nd hand 48V scooter battery that's perfect for my outboard motor. Not only will it extend my cruising time, but it's more compact and can be put in the front of the boat for better stability. The harness i'm making today is to just test it out next time we go sailing. I also get some new metal grinding bits that make short work of reducing the diamter of my back rudder'spintle so it should now slide properly into the existing points on the transom of the dinghy. I also give a short tour of my main machines in my workshop. 00:00 Making a harness for the battery 04:49 Grinding the pintle down 07:07 Some of my machines
