Making a miter saw station - Epic fail? -

Let's face it I've never once tried to say I was an expert woodworker and this video will show my faults in every way possible. This miter saw has been annoying me for years in its current position. My table saw is always in the way. And I absolutely hate feeding my saw from the right. So I decided to move the saw from its long time place to a new place.... Well lets just say my wonderful ideas didn't work out as quickly or even remotely how I wanted them to. I ended up using my real skills to machine some threaded feet, using a nutcert tool (rivnut) and leveling everything as best as I could. I finally gave up.
