Life on the Erie canal while sailing is full of surprises. We happened to be in Fairport for the Farmers Market and it was full of goodies from fresh produce to baked goods and plants. We then carried on down the Erie Canal to find Karen in Newark which warmly welcomed us to all the facilities and gave u tons of information. More locks down we stop in Montezuma National Wildlife Reserve to deal with some engine problems.
