INTERNATIONAL MULTIHULL SHOW - IMS 2024 - MULTIHULLS WORLD

► For this multihull-exclusive event, the 2024 edition was one of handover: the historic tandem formed by Fred Morvan and Philippe Michel transferred the running of the event they conceived in 2010 and the M2 Organisation, the structure dedicated - among other things - to holding the event, to the Fédération des Industries Nautiques, France’s marine industries federation. For the first time, the FIN was in charge of this, the 16th IMS, which attracted close to 20,000 visitors over 5 days. Some 70 multihulls were to be found along the pontoons, including many La Grande-Motte firsts (the Alegria 67, Aquila 32 Sport and 42 Yachts, Balance 442, HH44, NEEL 42, Prestige 48 and M8), a European first (the Nautitech 48 Open) and even some world firsts (GP70, New Windelo 54). Despite the relatively early date in the season (April 3 to 7), the weather turned out to be quite mild. We were delighted that the show has retained its unique spirit - and its famous gathering spot open to all exhibitors and journalists. As for us, we obviously had our booth at the front of the big tent, as we do every year, to meet you and we announced the winners of the Multihull of the Year awards on the very first evening. The show also made an opportunity for us to round off the last few videos we’d been missing to claim the complete selection - this time, it’s done: all the multihulls that were on display at the IMS are also featured on our YouTube channel. The vast majority of these two- and three-hulled boats have already been tested by our journalists. But what about IMS 2025?
