This is a fully equipped Bluewater centre cockpit cruiser and her shallow draft wing keel is perfect for the East Coast cruising grounds. The Hunter 42 Passage was designed with interior volume and enhanced accommodation in mind and blends centre cockpit comfort and safety with surprising performance. She has a powerful masthead rig with roller furling genoa. A removable inner forestay with staysail can be set for heavier weather or going to windward with partial or fully furled genoa. On this centre cockpit model, the innovative B & R rig is complimented with a backstay, whilst retaining her mainsheet traveller on an arch and out of harm’s way. All her sail handling lines are brought back and operated from the safety of the cockpit, which is well protected by a dodger and bimini. The transom features a series of steps, making boarding from dock/dinghy easy and safe. The s/steel arch is fitted with a solar panel and the integral dinghy hoist. Below decks, the 42 is welcoming, light and spacious. The saloon is perfect for dining and entertaining and the galley is equally spacious with good storage and ample fridge and freezer capacity for longer trips or onboard living.
