This episode was filmed in 12 / 2020. â Welcome to Untie The Lines! my name is Nike, I bought an aluminum 37 foot sailboat in Panama in 2013 that I named KARL. I spent a good year refitting it, mostly by myself and with the help of awesome friends, and then (mostly) solo sailed my sailboat around the western Caribbean. In 2016, I crossed the Panama Canal, had a major engine break down, a near sinking experience and a serious foot injury which got me stuck along the Pacific coast of Central and South America. In this Episode, I might have anchored my friend Mariaâs sailboat a tiny bit too close to the shallows and she pays me back with a wasabi challenge. Paul, Luca, Maria and I go on a quick island excursion before we head back to the Marina to pick up more stuff. In total, we ended up spending nearly three months on Joana and itâs time to head back to the Pear islands where Paul and my sailboat are patiently waiting for us. Oh, and there was this thing called Xmas as well, but who wants to see Xmas in April, so I decided to skip that. Enjoy and Ahoy, Nike & Karl
