Have Most Sailors Forgotten this FREE Method for Maintaining the Teak Deck on a Sailboat?
A short video on looking after a teak deck and what should be done in our opinion, vs what we see all too often. I don't think I have been in many marinas recently where I haven't seen somebody pressure washing a teak deck, and on a close passing, you can see that rebrightened teak. But you can see how soft and torn and damaged it has become. Is it bad to just McCartney it an 'let it be?' My personal feeling is- just go sailing and let the ocean wash it.
