Haul-Out After Near Sinking...keep an eye on this piece at every time

In Episode 57 of the Sailing Goat Series, we experience the emotional highs and lows of sailing life all in one week. It starts off magical as we finally get to witness the famous Preveza Carnival, just a day after the city held a national protest for the 2023 train derailment tragedy. The city transformed, with over 100,000 people dancing, dressed in themed costumes, and partying in the streets—it was a night to remember. But boat life never stays quiet for long. Just one month after our previous haul-out in Brindisi, we find ourselves emergency hauling out again, this time at Cleopatra Marina after discovering that our saildrive membrane failed, causing us to take on water. Thankfully, Lefkada Yacht Service responded immediately and got to work to fix the issue before things got worse. Since we were out of the water, we took the opportunity to: Replace 50m of anchor chain (Max accidentally bought the wrong ISO chain instead of DIN). Let the blonde have fun spray-painting the new chain to mark scope distances properly. ⛵ Preveza Carnival – Pure Magic: From mourning to joy, Preveza came alive with one of the most incredible carnivals we’ve ever seen. 100,000 people, music, costumes, and non-stop dancing—this was the Carnival we were waiting for! 💦 Emergency Haul-Out – Near Sinking: A failed saildrive membrane could have ended badly, but quick action brought us safely to Cleopatra Marina.
