In this episode we finally get our engine started with no experience. We've shown you how to remove your engine, and how to remove the pistons and replace the connecting rods (conrod), but now we show you how to put the engine back together again. So, we rig up a hoist and back goes the diesel engine after a full rebuild. Rebuilding our 33 Year-Old Diesel Engine in the Galley of our Sailboat has been no small feat!
