First Time Moving our Boat in Six Months, What Could Possibly Go Wrong...😂 (Calico Skies, Ep 121)

We’re super excited to 1) have my little sister aboard with us and 2) officially leave the dock and move Calico Skies for the first time in MONTHS!! After picking Molly up in Bocas town we waste no time casting the lines and heading for an anchorage near town. We’re meeting friends on Delos, Hannah's Travels, Untide and s/v One Life for a hangout and party! It feels great to be on the hook again even though we’re being waked by the panga boats like crazy. The next morning we discover our windless is broken and on this second cruise realize something weird is up with the Alternator as well. We make it to Starfish Beach though and enjoy the ride even though winds were too light to sail. We spend the day paddle boarding and hanging out on the beach where we enjoy cocktails, friends, bright sun and palm trees :) Molly gets to see starfish though not as many as our last time here. Where have they gone? Nobody knows. After a beautiful sunset and evening on anchor we are in the water first thing in the morning for a refreshing dip. Bill fixes the windless, at least temporarily, so he doesn’t have to pull chain in thirty feet of water! A small victory. Later we head on back to Red Frog marina at our favorite island in Bocas del Toro to show Molly around and begin the job of fixing what’s broken.
