We have had an out of this world experience in the Exumas for the past month and a half and are kinda sad to be leaving, but we know that our sailing adventure isn't over yet and that we still have a lot more to explore along the way! We woke up at Highborne Cay this morning and are sailing wing and wing downwind across the Yellow Bank towards Rose Island. We couldn't have asked for a better day for the crossing. We had consistent winds and calm seas the whole way there. We intended to anchor at Booby Cay, which is just East of Rose Island, but we didn't like the look of the anchorage once we got there, so we retreated back to our good old and familiar anchorage on the West end of Rose Island for the night. We had a good nights rest at Rose Island and woke up the next morning to slightly stronger winds and seas as we continued our journey North toward Egg Island, where we expect to find a good anchorage stopover for the night, before crossing the East Providence Channel on our way to the Abacos.
