Ep 347 | LAST Minute JOBS and We're Outta Here! Sailing Nutshell, Australia

We spend our last few days in Broome provisioning Nutshell and waiting for our new lithium batteries to arrive. Then we finally head off towards the Kimberley. After an overnight sail,, we spend the night at Beagle Bay and then move north to Thomas Bay. Magnus installs the lithium batteries and we are, once again, powered. It’s a big relief to have proper power on board after our batteries failed on our sail to Indonesia. It’s been awhile and we have been cosseting our old batteries to make sure that they didn’t fail totally before we could get the new ones. We could charge them but they weren’t holding charge and after much investigating we decided that they were not good enough for us to continue with them. After the boat work, we head out in Peanut to for a well-earned sunset cruise around Thomas Bay. Thanks for watching.
