Ep 30. Christmas in paradise - Lobster anyone? (Sailing Susan Ann II)

Episode 30 Its finally Christmas on our channel!! Can't believe we're so behind, soz! In this weeks episode we head to Tobago Cays to meet our Ozzy friends from Aquafrolic so we can all spend Christmas Day together. Christmas morning we gave our families the exciting news that we are expecting a baby! It was a very emotional day for me (Hayley) being away from home and family. As much as I was grateful to be waking up in paradise, I really struggled not being with loved ones, this was my first Christmas away from my family ever so made it even harder being 7,000 miles away. We had a fabulous day but it just wasn’t the same as being at home. Thanks to all the Bartel and Finamore family for making us welcome. x After Christmas Day lunch on the beach with lots of fresh lobster we went back to the boat for an evening swim and to Dave's joy he got the best Christmas present ever, swimming with 20+ sting rays under the boat for hours. So that's why he wanted those underwater lights. After a few days relaxing at anchor off Baradal Island, we decided to move and find better shelter as the wind showed no signs of reducing. We sailed South to Palm Island for lunch and then North to Mayreau and Salt Whistle Bay as we'd heard this was a good anchorage. We got hit by another wonderful tropical storm but this time we weren't so prepared… We hope you guys enjoy following our adventure as much as we enjoy documenting it so please leave us a comment below.
