Exploring the Montebello Islands we checkout Alpha Island, site of the third and largest nuclear bomb ever detonated in Australia. We climb the short hill to get better phone coverage and fly the drone to get a birds eye perspective over the remarkable island chain, before snorkelling and spearfishing to catch some cray and coral trout. Heading out to the outer reef edge we catch a couple massive crayfish, before we get a visit from a HUGE HAMMERHEAD SHARK. We're Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022. We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change.
