E16 - Whales in Port Bouquet

After returning from The Loyalty Islands we arrive in Port Bouquet. In the morning we have a whale swim near the boat for some fantastic drone footage. We head down the coast checking out the tiny island of Ilot Mamere. We then head down to Bae Kouakoue and stop at Yate. We then take a hike up the Yate river to the Yate dam, a walk that was supposed to take 20 minutes but was really 5 hours of some very demanding hiking and climbing.
