We climb the challenging Mount Rugby at 770 metres high, before moving to Payne Bay to explore the Davey River. Taking the tender we cross the tricky bar and wind our way up past the lower rapids and through the incredible gorge. Working our way up the river which becomes more narrow and with increasingly fast flowing river, we stop for a picnic before riding the river rapids back. We're Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022. We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change. We are just an ordinary Aussie couple exploring what this great world has to offer and hope that we can inspire others just as we were by watching other YouTube channels to follow our dreams. #sailing #sailingboat #sailingyacht #yacht #yachting #yachtinglifestyle #cruisinglife #tasmania #riverrafting #circumnavigationaustralia #seawind1260 #seawindcats
