DeFever trawlers are popular, offer great value from an appealing design and the DeFever name has been the marquee for many sizes over the last couple of decades. The brand is on hold, new production has stopped. In our view, the last and best builder is POCTA, but each DeFever has its’ own story to tell. Flyin’ Low is a 2007 model year, DeFever 56 – one owner! She is a double side deck configuration, raised pilothouse with flybridge. Interior layout: Three staterooms Three heads Machinery: Twin Caterpillar C-7 main engines (2) Westerbeke generators: 15 kW and 7.7 kW This is the thirtieth episode in our TrawlAboard series – a collection of trawler tours filmed on the docks at events around the country.
