DAY 6 | 49er & 49er FX World Championships
Day 6 of the 49er and 49erFX World Championships in Lanzarote. Erwan Fischer and Clement Pequin secured France's first 49er world title, while Odile van Aanholt and Annette Duetz reclaimed the 49erFX world title for the Netherlands in Lanzarote. Despite challenges, Fischer and Pequin won the men's 49er with a race to spare. Van Aanholt and Duetz clinched the 49erFX title in the afternoon, overcoming a setback earlier in the day. The Swedish team went home with a silver in the 49erFX, and Bart Lambriex and Floris van de Werken claimed silver for the Netherlands in the men's 49er. The event showcased the competitive field ahead of the upcoming Olympic Regatta in July.
