Carnival In Panama: Devils & Congos - UNTIE THE LINES #26

Last week, it was Carnival in Panama and I went to Puerto Lindo and Portobelo to watch the ceremonies. It was beautiful to see the people dance to the Congos, an old tradition that was brought over to Panama from the african slaves. The streets were also full of scary devils with amazing masks who were smacking people to finally be caught by some angels to be baptized.
