Cabo to La Cruz - Our longest passage so far (December 2024)

Andy from @sailingsole joins as crew as we sail from Cabo San Lucas to La Cruz De Huanacaxtle in Banderas Bay. This is our longest passage yet at 294.1 miles. There is a high seas weather advisory as we depart Cabo San Lucas. We motor 16 nautical miles West to fuel up at San Jose Del Cabo (and thereby skipping the zoo!). Our strategy is to make our way South for several hours as conditions for the Sea crossing begin to improve. Overall the trip is without incident and our plan results in a smooth crossing.
