Building a cruising sailboat; Plugs, lockers and hatches - SV Tapatya EP142

There's been a lot going on in the boatshed this week.I've cut black locust plugs and plugged the screw holes in the toerail; the woodwork on the main and fore decks has been prepped and varnished; the main entrance hatch is also in the process of being varnish sealed; the deck lockers and anchor chain box have all been painted out; the lazarette hatch frame has been worked and painted; a shore power connection has been prepped, and the undersides of the hatch turtle and lazarette hatch have been finished - all in preparation for the final coats of hull and deck paint!! This is the story of the building of a Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of the build as it progresses and aim to show as much detail as possible of the various aspects of the build.
