Being boarded at night whilst anchored on an isolated island, miles from help with no phone signal, is a very scary experience. Coupled with that the difficulties of dealing with immigration visa rules to avoid having to leave the country with nowhere else to go. Cruising Indonesia is not easy at times, the reality behind the stunning beach backgrounds. We are a British couple who set off from England in 2016 to fulfill our dream of sailing around the world on our 37ft sail boat, Florence.
