Setting off to sail over 300nm across the Tyrrhenian Sea to Corsica with only light winds forecast we knew it might take us a while to sail there, but we were, for once, in no hurry. We hoisted our asymmetric spinnaker and settled down to life onboard…..little did we know how light the wind would get and just how flat the sea can be….and what on earth is macaretti??
