Bahamas Bound - Is there such a thing as an easy Gulf Stream crossing? E23
We crossed the Gulf Stream from Ft. Lauderdale to Bimini, Bahamas on our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran. The trip was easy and almost uneventful, until we just about, literally, ran into some friends of ours, SV Oliluki, at the entrance to the Bimini Channel. We attended our first sand bar beach party, made too many Margaritas, and got up close and personal with some sharks and stingrays. And lots of awesome new music from Damon Fowler!
