Antigua mad foodfight | Life raft drill | Hike to huge Party Vlog 62

What better way to celebrate the 12 year old birthday of a boat kid than a mad food fight on a remote white sandy beach in the Caribbean? Our son David turned 12 while we were here in Antigua and we had a great day, starting out with life raft drills with 6 other boat families (we all take safety at sea seriously out here), followed by some crazy fun with the beach food fight, rounding out the day nicely with a beach campfire (including some pinata madness). In this episode we also explore other parts of Antigua including the resort at St James where yachties can tie up for a small fee and use all the resorts pools and toys - including their little Hobie cats which were so much fun. English harbour was a historical beauty and the hike up the mountain to Shirley heights to the lure of the steel drum band party with its amazing views was a highlight of our time here. We are the Robbins family sailing on our boat named Nikau. We are a family of 5. Our 3 kids are doing NZ correspondence school on board. They are growing to love it! What's not to love about 3 hours of school a day and then a different playground for the afternoon every day! We've traveled from New Zealand to Sardinia in Italy to pick up our boat and we plan over a few seasons to sail her back to New Zealand. We hope you enjoy following us on our adventures!
