⛵ Sailing School Spotlight: Annapolis Sailing School (@annapolissailingschool) Meet the team from Annapolis Sailing School! We caught up with them at the Annapolis Sailboat Show to learn about their beginner-friendly courses, hands-on instruction, and nearly 67 years of teaching sailors. 🌊 What makes Annapolis Sailing School special? With nearly 67 years of experience, Annapolis Sailing School focuses on making sailing accessible, enjoyable, and a lifelong hobby. Their beginner courses emphasize hands-on learning, with approximately two-thirds of instruction spent on the water and one-third in the classroom. ⛵ What can students expect on their first day? Students start with an introduction to the boat, basic terminology, and safety before heading onto the water. From sailing straight to practicing turns, each lesson builds confidence and skills. By day three, students can earn their ASA 101 certification! 📍 What makes your school unique? Annapolis Sailing School offers a complete learning journey, from first-time sailors to those ready to sail independently. Their experienced instructors adapt to different learning styles, helping students develop practical skills and progress through advanced courses. 🎟️ Any boat show specials this week? Yes!
