Here's more info: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/visitor-welcome Comment when you see the moment you started here with Arabella! Who the heck even is Ben? You'll see our video editor! Learn about our new boat carpenter, KP. How long has Annie B been a part of A2A... really? A look back and a look forward is what this is all about. A chance to see the timeline as it's never been seen before. It's been a while since we've checked back in with the roots of the idea—the pith of what has made 165,000 subscribers want to witness the story of this wooden boat making it to the water. A path less walked and one less rat in the race has drawn Alix, Ben, Aaron, Carolyn, Anne, KP, and many other hands to pitch in to see this boat in the water. Thank you very much for making one of the most delightful parts of this journey what it is. We're glad to share it, and we're glad you're here to share it with us. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sign up for our email newsletter: http://eepurl.com/hn3Qyv Acorn to Arabella is a boat building project taking place in Granby, Massachusetts. Steve started as an amateur boat builder building a 38' wooden boat in his backyard: designer William Atkin's Ingrid with a Stormy Petrel's gaff rig. These videos follow the journey from tree felling, to lumber milling, to lofting, to the lead keel pour and beyond—sharing details of the woodworking, carpentry, metal smithing, tool building, and tool maintenance that wooden boats command. This ultimate DIY project will continue well past launch, when Steve will travel and learn to cruise aboard the boat that he and our crew have built. Just kidding about all that, this channel is about a Siberian Laika named Akiva. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are interested in supporting/helping here are a few ways: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/how-to-help Acorn to Arabella's wishlist: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/wishlistpriority Jamestown Distributors Referral: If you are going to shop at Jamestown Distributors, please consider using our Total Boat referral code.
