A True ISLAND Woman and The Conch Cleaning QUEEN / Catching Our Own Food Living on a Boat FULL-TIME

In last week's video we told you that I could officially call myself a true island woman when I could clean a conch in under three minutes. It finally happened! I have also coined the name conch cleaning queen;) Living on the boat full time gives us the ability to catch our own food and helps us stay in these beautiful tropical islands as long as possible. Did you know conch is almost 100% protein? It is one of our very favorite meals and we were so lucky to be able to find some right under the boat. As with any species you are fishing/hunting for it is extremely important to stay up to date with closed seasons and size limits. This video was recorded in May 2020.
