An Overnight Sail to the Island of Björkör onboard Sailing Vessel Arcturus

| Season 3 | Episode 48 Welcome to Season 3 of my channel! On this episode we lave Sandivk just after midnight racing the next "wind event" that is scheduled for the next morning at 11am, bringing 35+ knots along with it once again. I enjoyed a beautiful night at the helm and finally got to experience the the sun never fully setting. It was like a prolonged sunset that turned into a sunrise and by 3:30am it was bright and crisp. Neil had seen "Bjökör on Navionics and asked the guys at the market about it in Sandvik and no one seemed to know about it. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find it was a nature preserve, had a south facing harbor and only one spot to tie a boat up to the dock, which thankfully was empty. This season will follow my time on board SV Arcturus as we explore the Åland Islands and beyond. We sail into cities, tie up on small islands, anchor bows to and ride out a blow before heading back to Sweden. I hope you will follow along with us on the trip.
