96 - Sailing Up Australia's East Coast

We started out this leg of our trip with an overnight passage up to Fraser Island. But to get into Fraser from the south, you have to cross the Wide Bay Bar, aka "The Mad Mile." It has a reputation for being dangerous, so we timed our crossing quite carefully. Once inside, we celebrated with some drone flying, paddleboarding and enjoying some amazing sunsets. The weather didn't really cooperate for us to head out to the Great Barrier Reef, so instead we left Fraser and set sail for Great Keppel Island. There was still more boatwork we had to do, so we crossed that off our to-do list and then enjoyed exploring the island. And then our last passage for this video (see we were really moving!) was up to the famous cruiser hangout at Middle Percy Island. Unfortunately, we didn't get the true Percy experience, as we were the only cruisers there at the time, but it was still cool to get on the island and leave a mark for people to follow!
